IBCLC Services

I offer private services to families requiring antenatal and postnatal breastfeeding/chestfeeding or infant feeding support as a fully qualified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

My services centre around a personalised approach, using evidence-based information to empower you on your journey. My aim is to work with each client in an individualised way; supporting your needs, listening to you, and acknowledging your family dynamics and feeding goals. I do not set time limits; each session takes as long as we need.

Support can be offered through home visits, in person support at my consultation space in Deal, or remotely through video/phone call and WhatsApp messaging.

I complete regular training to keep up to date with the latest research and work within the IBLCE Code of Professional Conduct. I hold my own professional insurance.

*Prices marked with an asterisk are for CT14, 15, 16, and 17 postcodes. Outside of these areas travel expenses will apply.

Home Visit Consultation

This is a comprehensive consultation, which allows me to take the time to work with you and your baby and address any worries or challenges you may be having. This will include gathering some pre-visit information and support until I can visit you (usually within 24-48 hours). A home visit where I will take a comprehensive feeding history and carry out a full feeding assessment, as well as plenty of time to sit and listen and discuss a plan forward. You will receive a follow-up feeding plan and resources (within 48 hours) of the visit and can access up to two weeks of further WhatsApp support. £120*

Follow-up home visits are available and include an extra week of WhatsApp support. £65*

Newborn Settling-in Visit

Sometimes parents just need a little reassurance that everything is going as it should be. During this visit, I can support to set you up on your breastfeeding journey. I can watch a feed and offer reassurance on good positioning and latch and give you information so you can know how to look for signs that your baby is feeding well. We can discuss any worries and take our time to debrief on your baby's arrival into the world and how to navigate the fourth trimester. After my visit I will send some useful resources for further information.

Clinic appointments - Deal, Kent

Perfect for support once you’re a little way into your journey. Support can include reducing top-ups, post tongue-tie division support, increasing supply and pumping, returning to work, weaning from the breast and night weaning. Sessions will be slightly cheaper than home visits (if you're in the first few weeks, a home visit is still optimum).

Phone/video-call Consultation

For some clients, this can be a convenient option of support and means that location is no barrier to accessing my services. It can work well for clients who have less-complex scenarios. We can chat about your feeding journey, and I will give you plenty of time to ask questions and chat through different options. This service can be a good option if you have questions about things such as starting solids, going back to work, weaning, etc.

The consultation will include time to discuss your feeding journey so far and address any questions you have. You will receive some follow up resources as well as up to one week of continued Whatsapp support.
